Who We Are.
We are a Golden K club located in Hartwell GA. The Golden K , a division of the Kiwanis Club, is specifically for older members of the community. We meet on Wednesdays at noon in Hartwell, Georgia at the Catholic Church on Highway 77 across from Quality Foods .
What We Do
The Hart County Golden K is focused on providing assistance to older members of Hart County.
Our club provides the service of constructing handicapped ramps for those in the county that need them. We have a long history of providing these ramps with the number of ramps provided exceeding 430. Any member of the County that has a problem accessing their home due to the use of a walker, wheelchair or other disability can contact our club for assistance. We encourage or clients to reimburse us for the cost of materials for the ramps but do not require it. All labor is provided free of charge.

Our club also provides Bingo games for the Hart County Senior Center on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 10:30 AM. Wining cards each receive $5 with a total of $55 per session given away.
How We Finance Our Projects
Our club finaces our projects and our club through fund raising efforts in the community. In the past we have raised money through Garage Sales, Raffles, and Golf Tournaments. How Can You Help
You can participate in these efforts in a number of ways.

2) Make a donation to the Hart County Golden K at P.O. Box 832 Hartwell, Ga.
